At 6th Street Playhouse...Leading Ladies Two Shakespearean actors, Jack and Leo, find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing "Scenes from Shakespeare" on the Moose Lodge circuit in the Amish country of Pennsylvania.  When they hear that an old lady in York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. Click HERE

THE GREEN MUSIC FESTIVAL "The real Slick Willie," a nickname donned by Bill Clinton,  discusses his 2007 book Basic Brown in an Artists Studio interview format with Political Science Professor David McCuan as host.

Brown has been at the center of California politics for four decades. He served two terms as Mayor of San Francisco, as well as 30 years in the California State Assembly, 15 of which he acted as Speaker. His book serves as a memoir of his 40 years in politics, from Robert F. Kennedy to the present. For more info and tickets. Click Here

Small Works: No Bigger Than a Foot
New Exhibit at the Arts Council of Sonoma County

Juried by David Best, all works in this exhibit are no larger than 12 inches wide, tall, and/or deep. Impactful 2D and 3D works of various media are represented. The exhibition runs from June 7th - July 25th at the Arts Council gallery at 404 Mendocino Avenue, Suite C, in Santa Rosa. Click for more details. Click graphic above for a quick video tour.





The Crucible at Summer Repertory Theatre.

"The Crucible," Arthur Miller's drama about the Salem witch hunt, is often viewed as a parable about paranoia in modern society but also stands as a valid historical drama. SRT newcomer David Storck directs.

"There's a reason this is a modern masterpiece, and that's because it's so incredibly layered and complicated," James Newman, Artistic Director of SRT said. Two dynamic photography exhibits will be on display simultaneously from June 17 - August 3, 2008 at the Riverfront Art Gallery. Ken Smith will present "Infared California", featuring infared images from around the Golden State, while Phil Johannes will show "Trees".
