workshops About The Gallery
A brand new Gallery on Mendocino Avenue in our new location.
Cultural Arts Council Gallery is centrally located at 404 Mendocino Ave, Suite C, downtown Santa Rosa. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Friday from Noon to 5:00pm and Saturday from Noon to 4:00pm. The gallery is free and open to the public. Members receive a 15% discount on Gallery purchases.

The Gallery features exhibits throughout the year that focus on the creative expression and cultural heritage of Sonoma County. The Gallery is home to the ARTrails Preview Show every October.

Gallery tours for school groups are available by contacting Nicole Lee, Visual Arts Manager at 707-579-2787 Ext 103 or email Nicole

Workshops and panel discussions provide valuable information for artists and art enthusiasts.

THE GALLERY SHOW

An Arts Council of Sonoma County exhibit featuring artworks from Sonoma County Galleries

Sonoma County, CA – The Arts Council of Sonoma County presents The Gallery Show, a unique exhibit featuring one piece of artwork from each of the Sonoma County art galleries, highlighting the artistic and cultural breadth in Sonoma County. 

The Gallery Show aims to increase awareness of the different arts venues available throughout Sonoma County, raise visibility through greater exposure and promotion for individual galleries, and entice audiences to visit the participating galleries. 

The reception, open to the general public, takes place on Friday, August 1 from 5pm – 8pm and coincides with the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Santa Rosa.  Enjoy wine, light hors d’oeuvres, and a sampling of art at the Arts Council Gallery, followed by a stroll through the Downtown Arts District to view temporary in-store displays of visual arts and street performers at First Friday Art Walk.
