Description
6th Street Improv takes audience suggestions and makes up humorous stories on the spot. If you like "Who's Line is It Anyway," you'll love the thrill of participating in a fresh and evening of entertainment created by 6th Street Improv. 6th Street Improv holds the exclusive license to produce Theatresports (TM) matches in Santa Rosa, during which two improv teams square off to delight the audience and win points from judges.
History
6th Street Improv was founded by Bridget Palmer as the resident professional improv company at the 6th Street Playhouse in January 2009. The company has about ten members, including improvising keyboard players, and performs regularly during the theater season in the Studio Theater at the 6th Street Playhouse. One of 6th Street Improv's specialties is inventing spontaneous songs and musicals.
